City of Moreton Bay supports Fingerling releases.

The Caboolture and Stanley Rivers are now home to another 19,000 Australian Bass, 1,600 Golden Perch, and 880 endangered Mary River Cod. Thanks to the efforts of group members and supplier Hanwood Fish Hatchery, fingerlings were released over various locations within both catchments. We hope these fingerlings grow up to be adult fish in years to come, providing a recreational and environmental benefit to our waterways.
We want to thank our supporters, City of Moreton Bay, for providing the Community Operational Support Grant and the Department of Primary Industries - Fisheries, Stocked Impoundment Permit scheme for funding this important restocking effort.
